$9,000 raised of $10,000 goal

During this crucial time of Covid’s recent surge in India, the Sargam committee would like to propose to raise funds to support the people of Kerala. We can help the Kerala Government to curtail the havoc created by the resurgence of Covid.

This time we are planning to give our donation as medical equipment. For this purpose, we are partnering with FOMAA( Federation of Malayalee Association of Malayalees). 100% of the funds raised will be used to procure medical equipment such as Ventilators, Oxy valves, Pulse oximeter, Oxygen concentrates, N95 mask, etc.

The government of Kerala entrusted NORKA(Non-Residents Keralites Affairs) as the nodal agency for collecting medical equipment help from overseas organizations. As per central govt. notification, medical equipment imported by Govt. departments until June 30 will be duty-free.

The funds generated through SARGAM will be transferred to FOMAA to purchase necessary equipment based on Govt. requirement and will be sent to Kerala on behalf of Sargam.

Kerala Govt. will be the receiving agent and make necessary arrangements for customs clearance formalities. After that, based on requirements from different parts of the state, Kerala Medical Service Corporation ( KMSCL) will distribute the equipment.

100% of the funds will be used to procure medical equipment.
