Padmini Sirish's talent for dance was evident from a young age, and she began formal training under Guru Narmada at the age of four-and-a-half. She performed her arangetram three years later to critical acclaim. Padmini has received numerous accolades, including the Cultural Talent Search Scholarship and various awards for her performances. Over the last decade, she has performed at various multicultural festivals in India and the USA.

In addition to her dance career, Padmini is passionate about scientific research. She holds a Gold Medal in MSc in Cytogenetics from Bangalore University and a PhD in Molecular Physiology from the University of California, Davis. She currently works as Faculty at the University of California, Davis, and has numerous scientific publications to her credit. Padmini also established Aradhana Arts in Folsom to propagate the rich tradition of Bharatanatyam and nurture young aspirants.
